Greetings from PolyU Global Engagement Office (GEO)! 

 

We are now calling for nominations for the PolyU Student Exchange Programme in the 2027 Spring Semester.  Please complete the nominations by the deadlines below.  

 

Nomination and Application Deadlines

 

Exchange Period:	2027 Spring Semester (Jan – May 2027)
Nomination:	Complete 2026/27 (Spring Semester) Online Nomination Form by: 15 Sep 2026 (for School of Design) 26 Sep 2026 (for all other disciplines)
Application:	By 15 Oct 2026

 

• For partners who have sent us nominations earlier via email, please fill in the 2026/27 Online Nomination Form to complete the nomination process.
• We would like to gently remind you to nominate no more than the agreed number of exchange students. Due to limited on-campus accommodation and the need to maintain our exchange balance, we are unfortunately unable to accept any nominations beyond our agreed quota in this round. Nominations exceeding the agreed quota may not be accepted. We greatly appreciate your understanding.
• A unique token will be sent to each nominated student via email for completion of the GEO online application.

 

For School of Design nominees:

• Students applying for an exchange at the School of Design are required to submit the following for the School’s review:

1) portfolio,

2) transcript, and

3) letter of motivation (if applicable – please refer to the Portfolio Guideline).

• Applicants should read the Portfolio Guideline for clear instructions before submission.
• Please send portfolio and documents to inbound.exchange@polyu.edu.hk by 15 Sep 2026 after being nominated by home university. Nominations without submission of portfolio and required documents will NOT be considered.  
• Upon satisfactory review by the School, a unique token will be issued to individual students via email for completion of the GEO online application. 
• The School of Design opens the below programmes for application in the 2027 Spring Semester:

• Advertising Design (ADV)
• Environmental Design (ED)
• Information Design (IFD)
• Interaction Design (ITD)
• Interior Design (IRD)
• Media Design (MD)
• Product Design (PD)
• Service Design (SD)
• Social Design (OD)
