引導學生探索餐旅產業的發展趨勢與未來職涯規劃。同時也學習如何與未來的職業生涯做聯結,增進現今旅館的了解。課程在促進了解餐旅的現況與發展趨勢方面,分別以不同方式的課程來引導學生,例如參觀不同經營形式的飯店、實地了解並參與食材從產地到餐桌的過程。

修課心得
Our class went on a visit to the Kaohsiung Marriott Hotel. When we arrived at the lobby, a hotel staff member introduced the Marriott brand and explained the different facilities in the hotel. After that, we were divided into groups and started the hotel tour. My group first visited a suite room with a king-size bed. The room was very spacious and included a living room, a dining area, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a bathtub. We also visited a twin-bed room, which was smaller and did not have a living room, but it was still comfortable and nicely designed. I think both rooms are suitable for staying during a vacation. We then visited some restaurants and the wedding venue. The venue looked simple and elegant, and it also had an outdoor area. Later, we went to the seventh floor, where the swimming pool, spa, and gym are located. We were not allowed to take photos to respect guests’ privacy. The tour ended at the lobby, and it was a meaningful experience.
